Description

Gadriel is the chief ruling angel of the 5th Heaven (Machon) and in charge of war amongst nations.
He made man familiar with the weapons of war and it is said that when a prayer ascends to Heaven, Gadriel crowns it and then accompanies it to the 6th Heaven (Zebul).
His name is Aramaic and means God is my helper.
